Successful Teachers’ Workshop on the Use of AI in Education Organized by Unified Education Foundation Mumbai and MANUU
Mumbai, 31 January 2026:
Taking a significant step toward the effective integration of technology in education, the Unified Education Foundation (UEF), in collaboration with Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Hyderabad, successfully organized a one-day teachers’ workshop on Artificial Intelligence tools. The workshop was held on Saturday at Mayor Hall, Andheri West, Mumbai.
Conducted under the theme “Nurturing Minds and Hearts in the Age of AI,” the workshop brought together teachers from various schools to explore the practical applications of Artificial Intelligence in teaching, learning processes, and school administration.
The program began with the introduction and welcome of guests, where Mr. Syed Habibuddin, Secretary of UEF, greeted the dignitaries by presenting saplings—symbolizing growth, sustainability, and the spread of knowledge. Experienced educators from MANUU, Hyderabad, conducted informative and hands-on training sessions throughout the day.
Mr. Rashid Khan delivered an inspiring keynote address on “Nurturing Minds and Hearts in the Age of AI,” emphasizing the importance of maintaining a balance between technological advancement and human values in education.
Professor Sami Siddiqui, Director, CPDMT, MANUU, introduced participants to the fundamentals of AI tools and digital educational resources, explaining how teachers can enhance lesson planning and classroom instruction using modern technology.
Dr. Wasim (MANUU, Hyderabad) led an engaging session on student participation through joyful learning methods, demonstrating how AI can help create more interactive, student-centered classrooms.
Professor Syed Aman, CDOP, MANUU, Hyderabad, highlighted the use of AI tools in administrative work, assessment, and evaluation. He explained how technology can simplify result analysis, record-keeping, and academic monitoring.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Nisar Khan, Deputy Education Officer (BMC), encouraged teachers to adopt modern AI tools to improve the quality of education. He appreciated the joint efforts of UEF and MANUU in equipping educators with contemporary skills.
The program concluded with a motivational address by Mr. Ubaidur Rahman, Secretary, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Mumbai, who urged teachers to continuously learn and embrace new technologies for shaping a better future for students.
Participants expressed enthusiastic feedback, describing the workshop as highly successful, practical, and informative. Many teachers shared that the sessions helped them understand how AI can save time, enhance creativity, and contribute to improved learning outcomes for students.
At the end of the workshop, certificates were distributed to all participants by the Chief Guest, distinguished guests, and resource persons.
Overall, the workshop proved to be a meaningful initiative toward preparing teachers to meet the evolving demands of education in the digital age.
